She has hired a group to determine which speaking engagements she should attend. She is only one person. All this BS about her not showing up or wishy washing on engagements are just another Palin hit job, trying to discredit her, IMO.

I agree with everything you have said abput this Organization which I used to belong to before they acted like Rino Nazis. I belong to the National Republican Women's Network through our Florida Women's Politial Network, none of which are Rinos, and I could write a book about the Trouble making and disgusting things that they have done. We (FWPN)just had our Summit three weeks ago in Orlando with Ralph Reed and Dick Morris as two of the speakers. Sarah and Marco Rubio are huge favorites of our group, and Sarah cannot just choose one Republican Women's group over another. Our Group members are Conservative activists, and hard workers, and they (Federated) are elitists who are in league with Crist and RPOF chair Greer(yuk) to the detriment of Republicans and Conservatives. They are BOW Wows(bunch of witches)and (worthless old wombats). Rant off.....

Wow! I didn’t realize until I got on the board. Wasted
nearly two years of my life in that group. I Should have
figured it out sooner, especially when none of them had
ever heard of Free Republic.

When I read Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals”, the light
bulb went off. I recognized his foul stench all over the
whiney blue haired old ladies.

“BOW WOW’s”. That’s funny.

Rant still on...

I am glad you did not waste as much time as I did. I have been there and done that. Crist,Greer, and The Federated are tone deaf and clueless how the non elitist People live. The FWPN is going to be big and Powerful and great for all.

Okay I am really glad I am not the only one that does not think this is a snub

I'm beginning to think that someone who hates her is reporting her failure to appear at every event to which she has been invited so as to smear her. How many of these articles have there been in the last few weeks?

"Republican women" organizations are a 5th column in our party. They exist to give liberals who were raised in Republican households the political cover they need in their own minds to freely support liberal Democrats.

Interesting that you say that, some of us have noticed that a female having GOP in her freeper name is usually a bad sign in the way that you describe.

It's occuring to me that Sarah Palin is building her "non-partisan" credentials, although anybody that knows what she did in Alaska should already know that she puts principle above party affiliation.

(1) She has not attended any GOP functions since leaving office. (2) She HAS said she will campaign for conservative candidates, regardless of party affiliation. (3) Her first speaking engagement will be a non-partisan event in Hong Kong.

Again, it would appear that she is trying to put distance between herself and the national Republican party. I'm not suggesting that she has any plans to run as an independent or under any other party banner, but among the things people identify her with, I think she wants "republican" down the list aways.

I'm sure some "expert" pundits would say she's going about everything all wrong, but she is obviously not a conventional politician (and not a politician at all right now).

I happen to think it's a brilliant strategy on her part. While the popularity of the democrats is sinking like a concrete boat taking on water right now, that doesn't mean everyone is going to automatically transfer their support to the default republican. A lot of people were furious with Bush and the GOP, which is why Obama got in. While a lot of those same people have had it with the "Messiah" and the dems, they are still angry with the GOP. To get those people back, a Republican will have to be seen as something other than a typical republican.

Palin fits the bill perfectly to ride the wave of the anger we've see at Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings. She's not a beltway politician. She bucks her party when principle demands it. She hasn't placed the interest of business over the interests of the people. These angry people want to not just be against something/someone, they desparately want someone who will represent THEM and their interests. When Palin plugs into that populism, it will be an unstoppable freight train. The passion we've seen on display from these people at the Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings will be transferred to backing Palin and not even the media, democrats, and country-club republicans lined up together against her, will be able to stop her inevitable trip to the White House.

Our committee for the FR Tea Party Convention in D.C. in a couple weeks had invited Sarah to be our guest speaker. She did not accept.

Do we feel "snubbed" like that ghastly GOP coven leader with her forked tongue?

Nope!

We'd feel proud even to be snubbed by Sarah, LOL.

Federated Republican Women (as an organization) don’t take an official position before any primaries. Individual members can support whomever they desire in the primaries. I was a member in MO, and that was the official position here, anyway. HTH.

I don’t see Palin attacking president zero as much as promoting her political views and positions. It just so happens that what she believes in is supported by the majority of Americans, and opposed to the big government plans Democrats have along with numerous big government Republicans.

I do agree she is working for the long term goal of increasing her credentials. President Reagan did that as well by running for CA Governor after losing his bid for president. Reagan won easily after he proved his executive experience as governor.
