Besides, I was a member of that organization, and they are completely infiltrated with Alinsky disrupters. The stories I could tell. Yes, my experience with "Republican Women" groups is that they are primarily made up of liberals who like to say they're Republicans when they donate and publicly support DemocRATs. Getting them to help an actual Republican, including a Republican woman, never mind. My wife joined one, went to one meeting. She said she was the most conservative person there, and the waitress was probably the second-most conservative.

My fingers are crossed, but I got a gut feeling she's going to attend the D.C. March. If she gives the equivalent of King's "I have a dream" speech, it's over for Obama.

Just read the Constitution. Man, I would love to see that!

The part about Charlie Crist jumped out at me.

My take? She’s maintining strict neutrality in Crist/Rubio. Her heart is with Marco, but her head tells her that Charlie will probably win the primary.

Wise for her to bail on this kind of thing while the book is still being written.

My club was so weighed down by worry about
what was legal, they got nothing done. Our
guest speakers were constantly interrupted by
off topic “concerns” from whiney old ladies.

The Federation is what convinced me that I
was no longer a Republican. The Republican
party no longer represented me.

They could quote Rush Limbaugh and they did
support the troops, but for me, actions speak
louder than words.

Thanks for saying something. In CO, this group consists of long time Republican activists. The only problem is..... Almost all of them are total RINO’s.

Yup! My club tried to torpedo a good candidate who
was an ex marine. They refused to endorse her
because she was “controversial”. Which meant, she
told the truth and wouldn’t play footsies with the
special interest groups. I am so ashamed of those
women.

Here is my take on Sarah Palin. She wants to focus her attention on two main areas:

1)Constantly attacking Obama

2)Legitimizing her credentials and cachet rather than playing partisan politics

Attending a GOP conference always invites comparisons and in addition whatever Palin says will be compared to what everybody else said and used against her by the MSM to create the narrative that she is divisive and out of the mainstream.

NB:By the way I’m glad Meg got out way ahead of time and announced Sarah would not attend.

They’ve got three more annual conventions before 2012. She certainly doesn’t need to appear there now or with such illuminaries as Steele and Crist.

I’m not really sure what the point is in having a such a club if they can’t either be supportive or say nothing at all when the most talented ‘Republican Woman’ politician they’ve ever has other some pressing obligations. Sheesh!

My experience with the the leadership of the Virginia Republican Women’s Federation has been disappointing to say the least.

My guess is Gov. Palin won’t be missing much at the Nataional Convention.

So yes, quit whining, ladies.

When I lived in another city, I was a campaign manager for a Republican candidate, a woman, running for re-election. They head of the Republican Women of that county actually called me up and left a threatening message on my machine when she found out my candidate wasn't coming to their annual spaghetti dinner. The reason my candidate didn't come was that the club had endorsed her male, Democrat opponent two years earlier, after she HAD, naively, bought a table at their stupid dinner.

We got a good laugh over the message. A news reporter also got a good laugh out of it. Unfortunately, the party chairman came down hard on me for "airing our dirty laundry in the press." Speaking of dirty laundry, he's probably washing a lot of it in prison these days.

"Republican women" organizations are a 5th column in our party. They exist to give liberals who were raised in Republican households the political cover they need in their own minds to freely support liberal Democrats.

Real Republican women are too busy with their jobs and families, plus, you know, actually doing the necessary work to get Republicans elected.

I’m still looking for a place to roll up my sleeves and
“do something”. But the organizations all seem to want
your vote or your money. Fine, I get that. But what
are conservatives doing to...

RE-EDUCATE public school victims,

RE-CLAIM our government and judiciary, and

RE-SET the constitution?

Many argue against a third party, including Rush, but where are we conservatives, of any party or political stripe, supposed to go?

The polls posted here say that a majority of Americans are conservative and I believe that a true conservative party would shrink the ranks of both the demonrats and the republicrats while giving we Independents a party we can join.

All things must pass...including political parties that are no longer relevant to anyone but themselves. I'm tired of voting for the lesser evil and getting what I voted for.
