Smells like this is being driven more by anti-incumbency fever than anti-Democratic fever, but well take it any way we can get it. Throw the bums out:
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 43% would vote for their districts Republican congressional candidate while 36% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.
That represents the lowest level of support for Democrats in recent years, while Republicans have tied their highest level of support for the third straight week. The previous low for Democrats over the past year was 37%
Throughout the summer of 2008, support for Democratic congressional candidates ranged from 45% to 48%. Republican support ranged from 34% to 37%
If Americans could vote to keep or replace the entire Congress, 57% would throw out all the legislators and start over again. Just 25% would vote to keep the Congress.
Even better: Per Ace, the latest PPP poll shows that the GOP leads 45/41 overall but 50/14 among voters who say theyre unhappy with both parties. The number who say theyd vote to reelect their congressman is just 47 percent. Is that enough to win back the House next year? Maybe not. Is it enough to make the Blue Dogs sweat even more about ObamaCare than they already are? You betcha.

Let’s hope these kind of numbers will help the GOP attract some decent candidates for the House and Senate for a change.
‘Rats are lower than whale shit at the bottom of the ocean.
Oh what wonderful words to read.
Scum always sinks to the bottom eventually.
If one follows Rasmussen, it’s easy to see that while the Dems have dropped hard, Republicans have only picked up a fraction of the Democrats’ loss.
All that will count is who counts the vote.
I must admit to being with the “throw them all out” crowd. Wheat, chaff, whatever.
I've noticed that, too. I believe the RINOS think they can stay in the middle, while the voters are more conservative. They are just to wishy-washy for the voters to trust.
You mean some devout conservatives for a change?
There is a vast difference.
Looks like a good start...
LOT MORE WORK TO DO FOLKS!!!
DRIVE THOSE SOBS FROM POWER!!!!
This nation is slow to wake up, but it is doing so right now, make sure it doesn’t go back to sleep!
I went to rasmussen to read the article and found this,
Republican Voters Say GOP Reps in Congress Still Out of Touch
Seventy-four percent (74%) of Republican voters say their partys representatives in Congress have lost touch with GOP voters nationwide over the past several years. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 18% of GOP voters believe their elected officials have done a good job representing the base.

18% doesn’t even make the “four out of five dentists” standard for opinion.

Nah. The incumbents have only been the incumbents for 2 and a half years. Way too early to talk about that. This is a slowly dawning and spreading realization that we're not in Kansas anymore.
Down goes Obama, Down goes Obama, Down goes Obama.
Attracting candidates isn’t the issue this year. A number are stepping forward already. Having the RNC stay out of the selection process in which they inevitably choose the more liberal candidate isthe real problem. And far as I’m concerned, their picks like Crist and Kirk can fall on their face. I won’t lift a finger for them.
“I’m very proud of my leadership of the Democrats in the House of Representatives and proud of them to make history, choosing a woman as their leader. I’m proud of the fact that we have had unity in our party... We have clarity in our message. We know who we are as Democrats. “
Nancy Pelosi
Get ready to eat them words Nancy. Your party is going to disappear you.
