In a recent survey, 65% of out-of-work respondents reported willingness to accept wages up to 30% lower than their previous compensation. And, 3% and 4%, respectively, said they would accept up to 40% and 50% of prior wages, according to the 2009 Annual Career Fair Survey released by Next Steps Career Solutions.

One has to wonder if this is not the objective; get people to take less money further pushing the US to the rank of a third world nation! thanks Obama!
Soon 90% will be living on subsistance wages, 9% will work for government keeping us in line and 1% will be the elite and their super wealthy friends

The Elites just hate seeing the hoi polloi driving the same model Lexus And Mercedes as them.
This then would be a deflationary signal.
Since my business sputtered to a near-halt, I’ve been working for an hourly wage at less than half of what I used to make. And I’m glad to have it. At least it’s IT work. At least I don’t feel compelled to take a tomahawk to work to deal with loudmouthed Obamabots. (There ARE a few, but they’re mostly silent these days)
So I still do the old business evenings and weekends - it’s now a supplement to the other paycheck. I figure it’s either going to turn around or it won’t even matter in another month or three.
Like the saying goes, we’ll either all be laughing at all of this or we’ll be too busy reloading.
You don’t have to get people to take less money - all you have to do is to devalue what they do have.
Devalue what they have and devalue them!

good lord, that just goes to show you the difference in standards of living. i live in Manhattan and would be nearly homeless if i made that. wow!

Things simply don't look good, and the rule of law is a distant memory.
Still cheaper for corps to offshore and pay only 4% to 25% of what they paid Americans.
