Yesterday, they said it was a matter of “when”, not “if”. I think they are hoping it will miss vital parts of the peak ... but there is the potential for great devastation.
That was the County Fire PIO two days ago assuring Mt. Wilson would be toast....
I think it will make it based on the action I saw earlier...the fire wasnt burning in the trees, just the ground...
