Washington Times: Former U.S. Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales on Tuesday defended the decision of his current successor, Eric H. Holder Jr., to investigate alleged prisoner abuse by CIA interrogators over President Obama's desire to look forward.
"As chief prosecutor of the United States, he should make the decision on his own, based on the facts, then inform the White House," said Mr. Gonzales, who was appointed to the post by President George W. Bush in 2005 and resigned in 2007.

One Hispanic that shall remain forever on the sidelines of history.
Holder is ALREADY running the White House.
I thought that it was Rahm, or perhaps Michelle.
Make no mistake, Rahm is in charge.
The only difference between the boob in office before him, and the boob in office now is the party label and degree.
Gonzales was ANOTHER indicator that Bush II was was not functioning properly when not directed by Cheney in his second term.
Should we be surprised with Alberto supporting Holder?
No...because Gonzales was the same guy who tacitly supported the phony charges and convictions on Ignacio Ramos and Jose Campeon....allowing the Border Patrol agents to be convicted based on the word of an Illegal Alien drug dealer....who not only was busted hauling drugs when shot at by the two BP agents...but also was hauling drugs when on an visa and permit issued by Gonzales-run DOJ
Oops. You’re right. Somehow I keep getting those two mixed up.
Just use word association...think of his initials...R. E. = Really Evil, LOL!
You got that right! No suprise here........
I suspect that Michelle is smarter than Barack. After her outbursts like "For the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country," she learned to keep her mouth shut to conceal her hatred of the USA.
