Didn’t the environmentalist stop the controled burning and dead wood removal? Was this problem building up before this?

Enviros have tied the hands of all the Forest employees.

Cannot get permission to remove low brush.

Cannot get permission to build ‘fire breaks’ with a bull dozer.

Clinton shut off roads into and inside the forest, and actually destroyed access by digging holes the size of a VW Bug to prevent trucks of fire fighters from getting to a fire.

Those who live where rain is more spread out don’t understand the ‘rainy season’ and the rest of the year in places like California.

The fires in N California near Davenport destroyed thousands of timber trees, and the enviros won’t let them be harvested before they turn into bark beetle food and cause more future problems.
