If Obama & the Left don’t accept that there IS a War on Terror, or that we are in a war with Terrorists, or that we ought to be fighting a War on Terror,

there seems to be little reason to be fighting in Afghanistan.

Yep

For the record, I’m strongly in support of our military. That is why we should never tie their hands behind their backs and then ask them to fight to protect our freedom.

The Left argues that "The War On Terror" is an unreasonable term because you can't have a war simply against a tactic. You need a noun not a verb as the subject. But if you say, OK, "War on Terrorists" then they throw out "One man's terrorist is another's Freedom Fighter." If you say "War Against Islamic Extremism" the that is jingoistic. If you say, "War Against Al Qaeda" then it's somewhat OK.

So as far as I can see the term "War Against Al Qaeda & Their Like-Minded Buddies" should presumably be OK but they'll find a way to object.
