I will never understand why in the middle of a war it is somehow ok to shoot a predator drone at someone and their family and blow them into a billions pieces... but it is somehow wrong to instead capture the same man and question him using simulated torture that does no lasting damage.

And it especially confusing when the other side has no obligation what so ever to follow any rules at all, and quickly cuts the heads off any prisoners that capture.
