I wonder what President George W. Bush’s ratings were at this point during either of his terms? But then again, he didn’t try to take over the banks, the auto industry, the health industry, or have members of his party call dissent “un-American”, or try to kill Gramma. (The list goes on.)

It would lead on every alphabet and go right thru the first commercial break, with everyone down to the janitor at the station analyzing it. It would be front page, above the fold in every daily paper, in 14 inch type.
Yeah, it would be that important.
