JACKSON, Miss. -- Jackson police say a local grocery store owner shot and killed an intruder Sunday afternoon.
It happened in the 1400 block of Highway 80 at the Gipson Warehouse.
Police believe a man was trying to break into the warehouse when the owner shot him in the chest, killing him.
The Gipson Warehouse owner isn't facing any charges because of the Castle Doctrine, JPD Chief Tyrone Lewis said.
The Castle Doctrine allows property owners to protect his/her land and themselves.
stay outta dem castles, thieves!
One would think that enough stories like this and the thieves would get the message.....one would think.
.357 Magnum Justice.
they're too stupid to read. That's why they steal cr#p and get killed. If you take the general population of inmates and criminals, they're morons... violent, but really stupid.
If every person in prison died, it would raise the IQ of the U.S.A. 20 IQ points and ..... probably be a good thing in general for the country.
And do you know what the smart criminals look like? nobody does. They're few and far between, but they're out there.

Need a citizen booty law to go along with the Castle Doctrine.
If you shoot a criminal trying to rob you, you can make a claim in court to seize all assets of the criminal, including his car, his weapon and all the saleable junk inside his hovel. We could call it the rummage sale doctrine.
