TODAY — If you’re able, try to participate in the Whole Foods “BUYcott” to support John Mackey’s position against Obamacare.
No nitrates or dextrose (corn). they contain water, salt, turbinado sugar, sodium phosphate, celery powder.lactic acid starter culture not from milk. They are the small butt end of the ham and absolutely delicious. I try to keep 3 or 4 in the freezer. I think you will like them. I went on line to try and buy them when WF ran out but they were more expensive that way so I just waited till they got more in.
Did my buycott this morning. Spent $16+ worth. I know that’s not a lot, but I can’t afford to do major shopping there. Got some salsa, mac and cheese, Choco soy milk, coffee drink, and some body wash :)
BTTT
For today’s BUYcott, I’ll spend about the same. As you, I can’t afford to shop there as a rule, but I want to help make a statement today.
Ironic, isn’t it, that the conservatives who supposedly are rolling in dough, can’t afford to shop there? It’s the oppressed and ne’er-do-well libtards who frequent the place. I don’t get it.
Just picked up a few things at Whole Foods in Thousand Oaks, CA. The place was hopping. Nobody was demonstrating for a boycott.
I DID MY SHOPPING THERE TODAY, NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS APPROACHED BY A NUT JOB WEARING AN OBAMA PIN AND A RE-ELECT MELISSA BEAN PIN (D)N.W.SUBURBS OF CHICAGO. THEY ASKED ME “ DIDN’T I THINK EVERYONE DESERVES HEALTH CARE”, I REPLIED- “DID YOU READ THE BILL?” THEY SAID NO AND I SAID TO THE NUT JOB TO GO READ IT BEFORE BOYCOTTING A BUSINESS! I ALSO TOLD THEM THAT EVERYONE GETS CARE WHEN NEEDED EVEN IF THEY HAVEN’T GOT INSURANCE. I ALSO TOLD HIM TO GO GET A JOB INSTEAD OF ANOYING EVERYONE WHO SHOPS FOR FOOD.
Yeah - I’m keen on picking up some rabbit, $2/lb fish chunks, aged beef, exotic cheeses, and plenty of other non-vegan yummies at Whole Foods.

I’m on my way to a Whole Foods now — one of the older, funkier ones in Valley Village (Sherman Oaks/North Hollywood). It’s usually populated by the earth shoe wearing lefties of the area among others. Thus far in driving by I have not noticed any boycotting but who knows? I’ll get some hot food from deli and maybe a sorbet or something — just to make my statement. Fun, and not too expensive. And yes, somehow the oppressed lefties always seem to have money for Whole Foods.

Oohh == you had fun, didn’t you! I wish I’d encounter one of the boycotting idiots. But I suspect it will just be the usual hodge-podge of people in my local store — will report back.........
Tell me more about those hams.
I am already supporting them even though they are festering with lefties ...the owner deserves our support.
They may have been some of those Craigslist ACORN employees.
ATTA BOY!
LOLOLOLOLOL! Good for you!!
I’m back from Whole Foods — was there around 6:30 p.m. — very hot/humid and smokey today partly due to huge fires around L.A. Others markets have been similarly uncrowded in past few days probably due to same fires/heat.
The parking lot at WF was not as full as I’ve seen in the past but weather has kept many people indoors for now. No one inside or outside seemed to be involved in any BUYcotting or BOYcotting. Nothing at all was going on — dull.
I ended up with only $15 in goods but that’s all I wanted as I am not a WF shopper. At least I was there —
I went to the Whole Foods in Union Square in NYC, at about 1:30 pm. There were quite a few people shopping. I half-expected to see protestors outside, but there were none (although I did see a guy holding a sign urging people to repent their sins and read the Bible). I was a little disappointed, because I would have liked to mix it up with the dopes.
I don’t drive, so I couldn’t buy more than a bagful of stuff, which was all I could comfortably carry on the subway. I ended up spending about $40, which was about twice what I usually spend there. I got some very nice pork sausage, goat cheese and chocolate chip cookies, as well as a few pantry staples. It was a fun outing and a nice way to spend a beautiful afternoon. I’m glad I participated in this buycott. I visit the Union Square area frequently, so I think I’ll be back at that store again very soon.
No, it's "buycott!"
