Brett’s retired. That’s just a shadow that will get smacked down twice by the Pack this season. Shame he has made a caricature of himself though. From now on when someone is indecisive about retiring they will say they are “pulling a Favre”. Fortunately for him his career was so outstanding that he will be remembered for that also...especially when he finally joins Troy, Daryl, Jimmy, Howie, and Terry on the FOX broadcast crew.

On another note, Tedi Bruschi is announcing his retirement today...though I wouldn’t be surprised if he pulled a Favre and came back (like Junior Seau) to fill a late season gap and a chance at another ring.
