Sorry guy, but “Chinese Taipei” is a phony distinction made to placate the mainlanders. Reality says “Taiwan.”
It is TAIWAN. I have yet to meet a Taiwanese refer to Chang Kai Shek Airport, as an example, as Chinese Taipei airport..it is insulting to them. This is like calling Puerto Ricans..Americans, Okinawans as Japanese or Tibetans as Chinese Tibetans.

Not only that, but Taiwan is US territory. We got it from Japan in 1945, and legally have never given it up.
So the US team from California beat the US team from Taiwan!
