While the words are no less valid there is no record that they were penned by Sir Alex Fraser Tyler. Also worth noting is that his name is actually Sir Alex Fraser Tytler.
However, the words, regardless of who penned them, have great merit.
I also see parallels in Teddy Roosevelt observations.
