They do not DESERVE the HONOR of POW status!

Which is why terrorists aren’t protected by it. It’s not just a matter of honor, but of people like McCain missing the entire point for the Conventions. It wasn’t so much to protect soldiers in a war, but civilian populations by encouraging the soldiers to be identifiable and follow the rules of war.
