Graham, McCain, Snowe, Collins, this little Crist mini-me replacing Mel Martinez in Florida? Get rid of them the next chance we get.
The plan sounds good on paper. But...
One example: Lindsey Graham was re-elected in 2008.
Thus, the problem continues.
And, if I were placing bets today, I would bet McCain* gets re-elected in AZ in 2010.
Incumbency is difficult to beat.
==
*Note that I am not a supporter of McCain, never have been, not even when he got the nomination in 2008, never will be. He assaults on The Constitution and on the American people establish his political philosophy.

perhaps one of the new members of congress will have the courage to challenge the constitutionality of those czars.

Right,
We always hear about how much the Public hates the Democrats and this Socialist Government, but come November and every 2 years, they keep getting reelected and they seem to add a few more Democrat seats to boot.

Curiously, most will be returned for yet another term of spending us into oblivion and calling their constituents racists.

No matter how many of us may want honest government, most democrat voters just want the same liberal promising goodies returned to office. A call to eliminate all of congress will wipe out republicans alone.

Now I can go for that. We must outlaw Communism first as un-american. Would you throw out the First Amendment as well? I strongly oppose socialism and communism, and as a small business owner, I dread what Obama is going to do to my business. But I prefer the concept of "I disagree with what you said, but would fight to the death for your right to say it!"
We need to show that government of, by and for the people works because the people want it, not because they are forced to accept it under law.

I think there are laws against Treason. Communism is Treason and a danger to the Constitution.
To: cripplecreek
This is the very thing that happened last November. As much supposed hatred the polls showed for Congress, not one Democrat lost their seat to a Republican that I know of. Instead, the Democrats gained what, over 40?

Exactly. Polls show John Conyers to be somewhat vulnerable but only a moron believes that he’ll lose his seat to a republican. That’s a black democrat “entitled” seat and you couldn’t put Michael Moore or Cindy Sheehan in that seat, let alone a conservative republican.

Maybe the answer is moving to a pure democracy and scrapping the republic form.
Could a pure democracy be any worse? We now have the technology to implement it.
To: VRWCTexan
And 97% of them will be re-elected, as usual.
It’s like Government Schools. They all stink, except the wonderful one WE have.

Au contraire This is NOT a "non-thinking kneejerk response." Yes, there IS a "gaggle of good Republican legislators", but there are also literally thousands of equally good men and women in every state who could replace them. The wish to replace the whole of Congress reflects a loathing of the corruption of incumbency, rather than a rejection of any particular political philosophy. The ouster of all 435 members of the House is certainly improbable but the defeat of MY congressman in 2010 is not! As Chairman Mao observed, "A march of a thousand miles begins with one step." If disaffected voters in every congressional district actively support the challenger, REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL AFFILIATION, there will be significant change in the political landscape. Many incumbents will go down to defeat and the ones who do survive will have a new awareness that the electorate is holding them accountable. We can do this, people.

I think there are laws against Treason. Communism is Treason and a danger to the Constitution. So you would eliminate communism by implementing a communist law?
Being a communist is no more treason than being a Republican. Those laws are as follows:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.
Being a communist does not, by definition, constitute levying war, or giving aid and comfort.

I am going to vote for my congressman again. She is in her first term and I have agreed with every one of her votes.
You can not do better than that.
