I don’t remember where I originally heard this but it was during George Bush’s first term. Someone said that illegals coming into the US was all that kept Mexico from revolution. And if there was a revolution down there the US would have a communist nation on our southern border. Maybe someone else remembers this and can contribute it to the correct person.
No rationalization needed on immigration. The Chamber wants unlimited immigration, to break wages. The Wall Street Journal pounded the table editorially for open borders for years, then STHU after 9/11.
Wage-breaking (but price maintenance) is what access capitalism has been all about for the last 30 years, unfortunately.
As a Business Wing Republican, Bush never let any daylight appear between himself and his real constituency (James Q. Wilson would call it his "audience", distinguishing his real "constituency" from the mere voting one), which has always been the top-tier evergreen rich of midtown Manhattan, the Hamptons, and exurban Connecticut, the people who are so rich they wouldn't even have to count their money if it weren't for the need to pay taxes.
“Obama is also African-American and the author has no doubt seen what has happened to anyone with the temerity to criticize Obama.”
We can remove the sting of the race card. I for one, am sick of it. I no longer care what I am called. A stupid idea is a stupid idea no matter the color of the person who thought of it. People play the race card because it works. It works because many white people are deeply afraid of being labled ‘racist’. Obama’s ideas would be stupid if he were white. Stand up against the race card. For that matter, use the effective Alinsky tactics to your advantage: “Oh he’s bound to play the race card because he truly has no arguement.” Or,: “Well, if the facts won’t support your arguement you can always try and play the race card.” Laugh at them. Ridicule is a strong weapon.
Sorry for the rant, I got carried away.
That should be free movement of goods and natural persons aka units of labor.
Exactly, and Karl Marx is smiling.
Amazing << Hear this. Feel this, and tell me that this isn't music.
Oh, dear...
The NWO may be a very real idea, but there will always be too much conflict between ideologies, geographic locations, and religiouis beliefs for there ever to be a successful global government - unless there is some kind of world-wide bond that requires protection from some type of world-wide catastrophe. That doesn’t rule out that governments as we know them now will shift and change and change focus.
IMO, this Hussein pulls away from his handlers because his goals are personal with him at the center - a Saddam Hussein life-style, complete with planes and palaces and marble and gold and riches and wagyu beef, and that he should be the unquestioned ruler. His handlers need him only as a tool.
The voters who put him in power and will do whatever it takes to keep him there will, in time, realize they were nothing more than useful idiots, expendable just like the rest of us.
“Soros covered his bases well and McCain would be doing little different, just with more class.”
We didn’t have anybody halfway decent to vote for.
This writer seems shocked to discover that America elected a rank amateur, an economic illiterate and foreign policy rube, to the most powerful position in the world at a time of grave economic crisis and great foreign policy risk.
However, given the corporatism that Dear Leader is following here, as well as the encouragement of "upper class" vs. "lower class", Obama's actions fit well with the definition of Fascism. The only failure there is that he does not extol the virtues of the US, but is a "one-worlder" in his "nationalism". In this way, he is similar to communist, but the corporatism and class society he acts to encourage and advocates is not.
Dear Leader, as well as the other "Progressives" are indeed espousing One-World Fascism, or CommuFascism, not socialism.
We have a few advantages the Germans didn't have. First, we have their example, how Hitler won and what he did. And we have our history of fighting not only Hitler, but other lunatics and tyrants throughout our history.
Second, obama doesn't have the popular appeal that Hitler had, nor does obama have a beaten down population he can raise up, mold and construct into his vision that Hilter had after Germany's loss in WWI and the depression that followed. Germans loved and trusted Hitler and what he was doing and he used it against them.
And third, we have the ability, for now, to be better informed. People are beginning to wake up, more each day, and see what obama and his cohorts are up to. As a result, obama's popularity has fallen rapidly this summer. Honeymoon's over for obama with freedom loving Americans.
I hope it's enough for us to prevail over the narcissist tyrant some of our fellow citizens elected. As I started my post, I don't disagree with anything you've posted. These are dangerous times I never thought I would live to see.
So strictly speaking there has never been a communist country. However, every country that has tried to implement it in one form or another succeeded only in making a version of “the true dream” of Marx et al.
As I continually try to point out at resemblance to fascism and Hussein is strictly misdirection. You will note that no one in his Admin nor among his friends or friends of friends is there one neo-nazi nor Italian fascisti, but there are numerous communists of different stripes under every rock that gets turned.
Everyone needs to stop looking at strict definitions and start looking at the belief systems of all these people surrounding Husssein. It's like the shell game - round and round she goes, where the peanut is, nobody knows. If you keep watching the shells move, you will lose track of what the hands are doing and so always guess wrong.
Avowed communists would never implement a fascist system - it is antithetical to their beliefs; the two socialist systems hate each other.
“the corporatism and class society he acts to encourage and advocates is not”
That is only the first step - they know that they could not go directly for a Leninist/Maoist revolution at the onset. They aren't that dumb.
Once everyone ‘accepts’ the premise of your statement - which is their great hope - then, and only then, can they move on to the second step - outlawing private property, and the complete nationalization of industry.
“CommuFascism, not socialism.”
A) both communism and fascism are forms of socialism ie Statism.
B) there is no such thing as ‘CommuFascism’. You mistake one for the other because there are so many commonalities. One posits government ownership of everything, the other posits government control of business among others.
The major difference between the two is the banning of private property under communism. This step has not been taken yet, but that is the clear path Hussein is on.
Outstanding point.
We have certainly allowed an expanded the role of government and continue to do so.
No wonder that we have such huge deficits/debt and our rights and freedom are being taken away.
Probably.
See this article from Canada free press about Obama - a wolf in sheep’s clothing on the Fabian Coat of Arms.
Worldwide socialism is the plan.
“The Fabian Society casts all doubt aside about what Obama really is: Hes the quintessential Socialist wolf in sheeps clothing being used to shape a new world.”
