And yet, a man’s whole career can be tainted permanently because he put an extra vowel on the end of “Potato”. Another man’s career has been trashed because of one word, “macacca”.

Excellent post.

Only someone blinded by their own arrogance and ignorance could write comments such as hers that so clearly identify her as an elitist snob while simultaneously criticizing others for the same (i.e. the Palin supporters she labels ‘type II’). True blue liberals are among the most intolerant and mean-spirited people I've ever met in my life.

"Janice, you ignorant slut"...

Wanna bet that Janice is the kind of clueless "progressive" who was a vocal supporter of the "utopia" represented by the German Democratic Republic (a.k.a. Communist East Germany) before the fall of the Berlin Wall, while also considering herself to be in "solidarity" with the freedom-loving East Germans who tore down the Berlin wall to escape that "utopia", seemingly without even being consciously aware of the contradiction.

Janice is undoubtedly a Walter Mitty type, whose self image is of a valiant fighter for human rights battling against Nazis and Neanderthals, while the reality is that she is a self-deluded fool and a fascist and a shrew who is doing her progressive best to destroy real human rights and decent, freedom-loving people...

“Not “vision” or “health-care reform,” not “peacemaking” or even “Camelot.” Just the controversial 40-year-old event, the ugliest single moment from the late senator’s 77 years on Earth, nearly 47 of them in public service. The small souls who spend their days hanging out in discussion forums at Free Republic, one of the U.S ultra-right’s more popular online homes, greeted news of Kennedy’s death characteristically, flinging around words like “traitor,” “coward,” “disgrace”— and, yes, references to the 1969 event. Chappaquiddick minds in a narrow, ungenerous world. “

Oh, yes. Us ‘small souls’ who made the Kennedy's a bunch of rich AH’s.

If any one of us ‘small souls’ had of done what he did at Chappaquiddick and come up with the lame excuse he did, we maybe would have been getting out of prison this year with Lynette “Squeaky” Fromme.

So STFU and be glad.

What about Judas Iscariot? Just the one controversial event in the Garden, the ugliest single moment from his 30 years on Earth, nearly 3 of them in public mission.

What about Benedict Arnold? Just the one controversial event in the Revolutionary War, the ugliest single moment from his 60 years on Earth, nearly 7 of them in military service.

What about John Wilkes Booth? Just the one controversial event in Ford Theater, the ugliest single moment from his 27 years on Earth, nearly 10 of them in public performance.

This is a lie! We didn’t just focus on Chappaquiddick.

We also ridiculed him for the “waitress sandwich.”

With that background, it's no wonder he drank! He had no inner peace on the life he led - but drinking numbed the mind. He went after the American way of life - to dismantle it - with a vengeance - stemming from hate within his soul.

He couldn't handle the goodness of Reagan and his popularity because of his goodness - so he went after him underhandedly in a traitor like fashion. He didn't like his own life, so killing babies was no biggie to him - he didn't give it a thought, like he didn't give MaryJo a thought - it was all about Ted and his demons within.

He cheated his way through school and he cheated himself out of a decent honorable life - moreso, since he came into this world 'privileged'. I dare say, after 77 years, we cannot come up w/one decent thing he did for America. Yeah, he cheated America, too.

He’s one of the few people for whom they will have to put up a “No Tinkling on the Grave!” sign.

parsy, who can talk about now he’s in the ground.

In Canada, which used to have a largeness of soul, they even have a government platform, thanks to Stephen Harper and company.

The "they" are the Chappaquiddick-Type people. Not only does the Ottawa Citizen's journalist, work in our Conservative minority government into the late Senator's funeral, but there is Khadr as well. The Libs begging for his release to his dear mother in Toronto. A vengeful Muslim lady. He is at Guantanamo.

The fifteen year old, had hurled a grenade at US troops and one was killed. Another soldier was blinded in one eye. A US medic saved Khadr who was wounded.

Meantime the Liberal leader hopefully stomping the land, has dillied around with a threat of a fall election. The polls tell him and no doubt the Ottawa Citizen, their boys and girls may take a tumble- Liberals of course.

ROFLOL! Liberals really truly think we care what they think of us? Sticks and stones folks if you don’t like reading the truth about Teddy Kennedy don’t stop in here. It’s not mean it is the truth about what he did.

“Only someone blinded by their own arrogance and ignorance”

Which is to say any and every liberal.

These people can not be reasoned with. We all need to accept that fact.
