Classy video and comments from Ohio St. I am not sure it will work but being a retired soldier, I appreciate the effort.

Outstanding. No matter what you think of OSU, this is a great way to begin a wonderful tradition.

At least it’s a start. Most colleges today would hand out war protest posters. Maybe the tide is turning a bit. Probably this change is due in part to the success of the TEA bag rallies, and conservatives standing up for America again.

It will work. We got some real Buckeye a$$holes here in Columbus, but even they appreciate the military.
Just never ask them to to this for Michigan. ;)

Good for Ohio State, very GOOD! I remember and found links to one of the most DISGUSTING recent incidents that Ohio State is being proactive about;
2007 Rutgers vs. Navy when the Rutgers students went WAY OVER the line.
National reaction went strongly against Rutgers but I think I am safe in saying that the Northeast and MidAtlantic are still bastions of such overt behavior without penalty.

Ohio State fans (not all but many) are some of the most rude, classless douche bags in College Football.

I think that the Ohio State fans will love this. I think the Navy will be pleased by the warm reception. It is a huge campus with lots of medical, agricultural and technical majors, it is not a hotbed of radical thought.

My University played several of the service academies during my student days and there never once was a hint of disrespect.
And this was during Vietnam.

Well, for once, this Michigan State fan nods approval at Ohio State. BUT JUST THIS ONCE! :)
Very very classy video!

I’ll bet that the average IQ of the Navy team (or any of the service academies for that matter) is double that of the OSU team.

Despite what you think of him toward the twighlight of his career Woody Hayes was a real class act(And I was raised an Iowa Hawkeye/Iowa State Cyclone fan). He was in the US Navy is WW II.

Michigan didn’t respect Appalachian State either. Ask Lloyd Carr how that is working out if you can find him.

MISLEADING HEADLINE!!!! Ohio State fans always show guests in their stadium respect.
What they have been asked to do is to cheer for Navy when they take the field as hard as they cheer for the Buckeyes in order to the Middies that Buckeye nation admires and respects our military.
Go Buckeyes! Go Navy!

BD Fan,
Another short video for OSU.
OSU Marching Band Trailer
This video plays on the big screen just before the Pre-Game show starts.
BTW, The Navy game is also the weekend about 800 OSU Marching Band Alum show up to perform "Just one more time". I will be one of those 800 and marching with my son, who is a trombonist in the varsity band.
