He was at the Clinton Town Hall Tuesday night. Only about 80 people there. Courtney spoke mostly about veteran's benefits. When someone mentioned Obama mobilizing unions to support ObamaCare, John Olsen, president of the Connecticut AFL-CIO and a super-delegate to the 2008 DNC convention, got up and went on a tirade until he was shouted down. Lasted about five minutes. Olsen is on the Clinton Charter Revision Committee. Years ago the town decided the minority party should always have at least one member on each board. Olson and other Rats are attempting to change that.

In a continued effort to hear the views of my constituents, I will host a public Town Hall forum ... to discuss the critical issue of health insurance reform. ... and hosted a meeting with employees of L&M Hospital to discuss how the proposed health insurance legislation will impact their hospital. I have also taken the time to visit the homes of individuals who have contacted my office with questions about health insurance reform.Gee whiz Joe, I thought this was about HR3200, titled, "To provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes."
I suspect those attending your town hall will want to talk about health care, not health insurance.
