“Barrack” - isn’t that what the call a building that houses soldiers?
How about “Quonset”? That’s a good name and of the same caliber.
Or maybe “Dormitory”? “Dorm” or “Dormy” for short.

It's a Muslim name. As any Muslim child will tell you, it's the name of Muhammed’s horse.
If you're not Muslim, you're not going to name your boy child “Barak.”

It's a Muslim name. As any Muslim child will tell you, it's the name of Muhammeds horse. If you're not Muslim, you're not going to name your boy child Barak.
So which of the four horse's is Barak going to be: Conquest, War, Famine, or Death?

‘cause it’s not a name, it’s what babies do.

Hmm, then what about Ehud Barak, the Israeli leader?
I guess ‘Barak’ is a word common among Semitic peoples, with the Arabs being a part of this family of ethnicities.

I predict the name Barak will go down the same track as Adolf, Judas and Jezebel.

To the kids named "Barack" around and after the election:
"Tough break, kid. Must be rough bein' named after a complete butthead."

Barak means “blessing” in Arabic and “lightning” in Hebrew (Arabic for lightning is barq).
So no, it’s not just a Muslim name.
