Me either, he is acting just like our (former)dil, who my son obtained full custody from, as she beat the kids & is a total alcoholic, DUI’s and all!
She doesn’t need child support, those kids have supported JON all this time!!! GEEZ!
Jon's only money comes from the show, which he claims to not want to do. How will he pay any support?

Hmmm, she pushed him to first work from home and then to become a stay at home dad so she could do book and speaking tours. I’ve observed him cooking, cleaning and taking care of the kids including diaper changes and some other things that a lot of other things a lot of fathers I know would not do. Add that most of what he did was not up to her standards and she would yell at him constantly. He was just another person she controlled like the kids.
I used to watch the show once in a while until my dad who relaxes by watching the likes of Repo Man, Punk'd and Cheaters, told me that Jon and Kate Plus 8 was child exploitation and a waste of time! Hahahahaha.

And of course the uber controlling Kate is such a wonderful choice. These people are train wrecks as parents.

Just wondering, two sides to all stories. I use to like to watch the show b/c the kids are so adorable but she was so mean spirited, I couldn’t watch it anymore. Always nagging him, it irritated me and I am female.
I’m confused as to what you are asking me. Are you referring to Jon and the babysitter? (who just happened to be someone he was already dating)
If so, apparently she was photographed leaving the home in the morning the day after she was there with him supposedly babysitting.
The women who are siding with Kate 100% on this one are the same ones who thought Rosie was straight because of how cute she thought Tom Cruise is.
They have no clue.
I started watching this show a couple years ago. It was wholesome and interesting at the time. Better TV than the networks or other cable degradation stuff at the time. Pity that they’ve let the celebrity status go to their heads and allowed the tabloids to determine their outcome. I refuse to watch them anymore. Let’s see what happens to the Duggars. They live christian values, unlike Jon and Kate who ‘said’ they were christian. Or the table for 12 series who seem more wholesome. It’s a shame, I really thought Jon and Kate were ‘us’. I think the writing on the wall was when Kate announced they were ‘going green’. Gag.

I’ve been a musician for many years, and am happily retired. I turned down a recording contract as a singer for a band called “Mutha’s Day Out” who were signed to EMI records in the early 90’s. Five years ago I turned down another opportunity to pursue “fortune and fame” with a gentleman named John B****** who has a couple of grammies.
Both times, I decided my soul and sanity were more important than fame, baubles and bangles. So yes, I can safely say I would pass up a TV career, especially if it meant whoring out my family.
Do you also admire the myriad of strippers and porn-stars who find their ways off the welfare list?
My problem is the fact you choose to choose sides, when it is obvious BOTH of those idiots are pretty zhitty people.
I too, know what it takes to raise a child, and I am a great husband. There is no amount of money I could be offered to EXPLOIT my children like BOTH of them decided to do.

Why did she marry him then? Time and time again women marry these male infants in adult disguise and wonder why they end up being unreliable.

I will soon have my 57th aniversity. He is in Heaven now but I still feel our closeness. He worked so hard for his family. I never had to find a way to feed my kids he did a great job.
Kate has 8 kids all babies. I guess I do take her side for what a nerve wracking job to do that show and take care of those babies herself.She has great dreams for those kids just like all mothers. She sure has not had any help from that man.He has been to busy complaining.
I guess not to many can live up to my Soldier husband.
I've watched this show from the beginning. I noticed right off that she is a control freak, and always forces Jon to give in to her demands. Jon had a real job as well as taking care of the kids, so he had to answer to two bosses (one being his wife). She gave up her real job years ago, and relished the idea of being bossed by no one.
I got disgusted several years ago watching Kate and the way she mistreated Jon. She is completely responsible for the breakup of her family, and will probably attempt to ruin Jon's life years after the divorce. She needs to give up the control; they are no longer married.
