When they defend their actions by saying Garrido didn’t break his parole, that’s absurd. Kidnapping is certainly a violation of parole.

Well LEO"s could have checked out the complaint by neighbors a couple of years ago that there were tents in this guys backyard with children back there knowing he was a sex offender.
They could hhave been discovered sooner, at least.

Fox reported this morning that neighbors had informed police that something was wrong in the back yard and that they had seen children, or words to that effect. The police said there was nothing they could do. Possibly but some IR scoping seems in order here. A little night work might have figured this out.
