I hear you.........I'm not sure it's right for my folks, either. My Dad told me tonight that he already had a swine flu shot in the 60's....? We'll see what the new policies are. I think I will get them a flu shot.....are you planning on getting a flu shot?

H3N2 evolved from H2N2 by antigenic shift and caused the Hong Kong Flu pandemic of 1968 and 1969 that killed up to 750,000 humans. The dominant strain of annual flu in humans in January 2006 is H3N2. Measured resistance to the standard antiviral drugs amantadine and rimantadine in H3N2 in humans has increased to 91% in 2005. In August 2004, researchers in China found H5N1 in pigs.[4]

This one is the H1N1 flu virus/pandemic, the first flu pandemic in 47 years — since that Hong Kong flu (but of a different type then). So, anyone with an immunity built up from that would not be helped in regards to this present flu pandemic.
I do a lot of hand washing, I always carry antibacterial wipes when I am out and about. At home I wash my phones,etc, using bleach water several time a week.
I stay out of crowds as much as possible during flu season.
I've not had the flu in years,not to say my precautions work.)
I don't think there has been enough testing of this new vaccine to prove it is safe to put in my body. lol
