You give McCain more credit than I'm prepared to grant him.

He is known to be famously egotistic and vindictive. I could readily imagine that he somehow blames Palin for his election loss.

I can also imagine that he deeply resented the obvious fact that Palin was more popular than he.

So, yes, I can see where McCain might've condoned his staff's reprehensible actions.

OUCH!!!

Yeah, I bet that hurt a lot. I thought it was funny how quickly it went from 'after the convention they will campaign separately' to 'they will campaign together for a week or more'.

McCain is not a bad or evil person, although he has a Hell of a temper. I think his 'people' though...well I think they were probably more worried about her upstaging him than he was himself.

Politically, he is a disaster though. I certainly hope his aides, and Romney's for that matter, that trashed Sarah get the full wrath they deserve.
