My thoughts as well. But lets suppose for a moment he did stay in and win the primary - the media would of did a Palin on him and his beautiful family. It would of been brutal and hard to watch. But still can you imagine a Thompson/Palin ticket in 08? What a dream

I think Fred was a spoiler for his good friend McCain.
Was a Fredhead from the gitgo, but I have to agree, Fred didn’t seem inspired enough. My guess is that he was sucker punched behind the scenes and for some reason choose to not hit back or speak out. It would be difficult not to suspect Mclame, but the who, what and how we’ll never know.
