Search on your search engine:

saving youtube videos

You get results including

http://www.savevideodownload.com/

http://www.savetube.com/

http://www.savevid.com/

There’s a few more out there. I am sure someone here has had experience with one or more of them.

Thank you both...I did a search and came up with the following for a free way of saving these videos...gonna give it a try...

1. Open up a web browser and type in http://www.youtube.com

2. Search for the video that you want and the click on it.

3. Once the video starts to play you should see a red line at the bottom of the video showing its loading progress. Once the red line has completely finished, the video is ready to be downloaded.

4. Right click your mouse. A menu should show up with the following options: Back, Forward, Reload, Bookmark this page, and Send link. Scroll down until you see download media files and you should see an arrow. Move your mouse over the arrow which will bring up a sub-menu and you should see capture video files, capture audio files, and capture flash files. Go all the way down and until will see FLV Youtube download ( the name of your video).

5. Click the FLV file with the name of your video and a "Save as" menu will pop up. You can rename the video to whatever you desire. Save the file to your desktop.

Gonna give this a shot and see if it works....
