For those who think we don’t like Romney because he’s a Mormon, let me say I would be proud to have Glenn Beck as my president.
I’m a lifelong mormon, but we are a DIVERSE bunch.
What religion could get Glenn Beck, Mitt Romney, Harry Reid, and Orrin Hatch worshipping the same God?
Yet to me, it is evidence that our Faith has held true to its mandate of Freedom. We believe the ultimate principle in the universe is Freedom. Freedom of Thought, Speech, and Faith, and we don’t have religious leaders pounding the pulpit telling us what to think every sunday.
Rather we are taught correct principles and then left to govern ourselves. Some govern unwisely and some govern well, but we all have the freedom to live how we choose without any fear of being run out of the church for so choosing.
If we break the commandments, we are subject to a disciplinary council who decides how our membership is regulated, but we are still free to attend worship services.
I love my faith and I love Glenn Beck!
