This amazing image on Google Earth could be the elusive proof that the Loch Ness Monster exists.
Sun reader Jason Cooke spotted "Nessie" while browsing the Web site's satellite photos.
The shape seen on the surface of the 22-mile Scottish loch is 65ft long and appears to have an oval body, a tail and four legs or flippers.
Some experts believe Nessie may be a Plesiosaur, an extinct marine reptile with a shape like the Google image.
"This is really intriguing. It needs further study," said researcher

Here on Earth, we call that a “boat”
It’s a boat with a slow speed wake behind it. Jeez.
Trying to set us up for some unflattering remarks, newbie? Take it to DU, or KOS, or HuffyPuffy where they eat this garbage up.
Nessie? Please! That’s Bigfoot swimming, clearly!
That’s one BIG crawdad! Or crayfish, crawfish, depending on one’s locale. :-)
How’s that constant anger thing working out for you? The dude just posted a link to a Fox News story.
Squid? Octopus?
Besides, what is that other object in the photo?
Do you honestly believe this is the type of garbage FR is meant for? God help us if we become a laughing stock because of all our space alien-Loch Ness type postings based on clearly irrelevant or doctored material.
Oh, and I’m not angry, just disgusted with ridiculous material.
Oh, and you being 10 days NEWER than the other “Newbie” I’d not get too in-one’s-face before you understand how things work around here.
Hey! I believe in the Loch Ness monster! I just don’t believe in Obama or the Democrat party!
I’ve long wondered whether this and other unknown phenomena are real?
I think it’s a silly thing, but considering the non-political and news posts that are on here, is it really any worse than Brett Favre news? I just thought you went too far in ripping the guy for just posting a (mainstream) news story. It’s not like it’s from TinfoilTimes.com.
LOL
Use of the clause "could be" is a pretty good tip-off that it isn't.
FYI, Brett Favre news, as much as it's overdone (and I'm a Packer fan...) is generally based on fact. This is based on speculation about some mythical monster that's never been proven to exist, and a photo that is far more discernible as a vessel than some "monster". Your comparison doesn't hold up. I don't care where it originates from, a little common sense can go a long way in not burdening our bandwith with silly posts.
