Between this and the WH taking over interrogation, CIA director isn’t a job worth having right now.

Bingo.

The White House takeover of interrogation of terrorists is a huge slap in the face for Panetta, it essentially neuters the agency. The takeover probably has more to do with Panetta being peeved than the investigation of Bush-era abuses.

It's going to become very interesting to see who Obama puts in his place. It will have to be someone who accepts the fact that the White House will be doing the job the CIA used to do, so it will have to be someone WEAK. The CIA rank and file will not want to work for someone who allows Obama to turn the agency into a subsidiary of ACORN.

Pass the popcorn.

Here's the guy who fills the bill.

He'll join the ranks of Clinton retreads--and all Obama has to do is pick up the puppet-strings currently slack and on the pegs.
