What's the current mood in Massachusetts?
They were forced into homo "marriage" by the dems. Their state must be broke by now because they're liberal. They were also forced on to a health care plan and the cost is through the roof. I don't know how many have heard about the young woman Kennedy murdered, so there could be unjustified sympathy there.

The mood is that people are pretty “wee weed” up (read, pissed) at the current administration but this is, after all, Massachusetts where unions and special interests run the show. It will be like any other election where the electorate sit back and watch the POS corrupt political machine force in a leftist. It is SOO difficult for me to vote when you know your vote is meaningless yet I do it anyways in the hopes that some miracle will happen.

Dark, actually. I've heard people I've considered lefties to say some surprisingly negative things about Mass. government, and the phrase often used is "one party rule".

Many of us are now shopping in NH to avoid a newly increased sales tax, the Romneycare has ticked off many who were forced to buy it and can't find a doctor and there is now two cultures: the private sector, which is struggling mightily, and the public sector, still fat and happy. They consider it a recession when budgets remain static.

A Republican (and maybe a non-RINO!) could win.
