The Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-MI) is scheduled to hold a news conference Wednesday to announce the filing of a federal lawsuit against Wayne County Circuit Judge William Callahan. The Muslim plaintiff says she felt so intimidated by the judges repeated demand that she eventually removed her headscarf.

Hmmm...
Now this one should be interesting. The hijab vs. the robe.
The rule usually goes, judges must support other judges. Judges the do not support other judges usually find themselves quite lonely.
That’s most especially true inside a judge’s courtroom.
Anyone what to make a bet?
I find judges ordering me to do things intimidating, too. And I tend to do as they ask, otherwise I would get to cool my heels in gaol for “contempt of court”.
I think that’s how it is supposed to work, here in the West. Judges give intimidating orders, not friendly “suggestions”...
Is it somehow different over there, where Muslims come from? Are their judges kindly and accommodating, I wonder?
What is it about The Land of the Infidels that so attracts these Muslim Slime? Why don’t they want to live in a Muslim Paradise, where men are free to whip, beat and stone women publicly in the streets?
(Just curious.)
Waiting for the muslim women to run around protesting they want their men to beat them.
It beats me too.
I always make it a point to obviously stare at women in headscarves. Sometimes I wish I could walk up to a group of them in a clownsuit and say,” Hey, are you a clown too?”
I sure hope the women in that picture did not drive to that protest. Or a caning will be due.
Oh well, if the "lord" said it it must be true.
Another rabid liberal...

Yeah, that's fine. You can where whatever the hell you want in your home and on the street. You get into court and the judge tells you to take it off, you take it off. Period
Don't like it? Go back to your homeland with Sharia law and have a ball.
Here in Georgia, a judge said that Mooselimb women can where their jibjab and that it was just like a nun wearing her habit.
Funny i do not see it the same way.
I thought it was dangerous to educate women. Why is she not married and pregnant?
I notice that the pic shows Muslim women’s faces—but as I understand it, the hijab is also worn with a veil that conceals the face by conservative Muslims.
Just wondering if the popularly named “Ku Klux” laws that ban the use of hoods or clothing that make the wearer unknown and unknowable would come into play here.
Nor do I. I think you can see just *a bit* more of a nun's face when she is wearing a habit...
I was not saying that I agree with it, only that a judge in Georgia ruled in such a manner.
I was hoping the ‘mooselimb’ comment stressed my position.
Hooked on phonex did not work for me. Sorry DJ, I miss-read your comment.
Not a problem — no apology necessary. I think we’re both on the same page.
