The complete lack of scrutiny might explain the complete lack of evidence one way or the other.
To show how willing the media are to look the other way when it comes to Obama consider this.
During the campaign Obama’s, Clinton’s, and McCain’s passport files were breached. The media went ballistic that Obama’s passport files were breached and gave barely a mention of the other two candidates. (aside from suggestions that someone from their campaigns may have done it)
Within a few weeks Obama hired the man who ran the company that breached the passport files as a campaign advisor. John O. Brennan is now an intell advisor for Obama. Do you really think McCain would have been able to hire the guy without a word from the media?
BHO could sacrifice babies in the Oval Office and the media would spin it as a strong commitment to reproductive rights.
I cannot speak to the issue with John Brennan other than that I do not think there is any level of malfeasance or corruption by the BHO administration that the media will spotlight.
But that doesn’t change the fact that BHO was born in Hawaii.
