A very few. Right now McCain is having a townhall and is talking ‘bi-partisan’ bill for crying out loud. He is throwing Zero and the democrats a lifeline...just like he always does. I have seen very few republican congresscritters on TV or on radio. With a few notable exceptions, the republicans are missing in action. And when they do speak up, they release a statement and think they have done all they need to do! It’s pathetic and I for one am not going to make excuses for them anymore. The republicans that are actually fighting Obama with spine and courage....you can them count on one hand.
The Repubs have systematically come down hard on Oshama's health care plan, strategically picking various pieces out to criticize.
Kudos to them for doing their part in standing so strongly against it that now even Feingold is saying it's not going to happen.
This is a victory so far and the Repubs should be commended for standing for what's right on this (even Snowe has been more or less saying the right stuff), not condemned.
McCain was a stones throw from joining the Democrats prior to 2008, so this is not unexpected. He's not a RINO, he's a Democrat with a Republican membership.
