Obama's teleprompter tried to commit suicide and has been used less in recent months. Whenever Obama says something like "the police acted stupidly" or "everyone gets all wee-weed up", that's Obama speaking without the aid of the TOTUS.

Bill Ayers became persona non grata when he became an issue in the campaign. Maybe Obama asks him for a bit of advice here and there, but the days when he could just waltz over to Ayers' house for a cup of sugar and some political advice are gone.
