In April, Iowa became the third state in the nation to allow same-sex marriage after the state Supreme Court ruled that a law defining marriage as only between men and women was unconstitutional.

"Iowa" allowed nothing, and "became" nothing. It was a bunch of unelected judicial activists who did the dirty deed, and one can only hope that eligible Iowa voters will show at least as much backbone as their Left-Coast California brothers and sisters showed in amending their state's constitution. Iowa has an aging population who must (given Obama's declaration of war on seniors) by now understand how Left hand washes the other in Democrat politics.
