When I send a check, I have been getting a (lovely and appreciated) post card back in the mail, thanking me for contributing. I am not sure that is necessary, and/or possibly JimRob et al could send a (free) email instead to say they got the check? Since we reference to a pledge number that presumably tracks to our ID. ?
We write our screen name in memo on the checks we send specifically so Amy, or Jim don’t feel compelled to send the costly little thank you post card.
We appreciate the FReep Mail that tells us the check arrived in Fresno.
