While I totally agree with you about the barf on the talking points of those parents, don't forget that the same can (and is) be said about the talking points OUR 5th grade kids are spewing...........
My daughter was in 5th grade last year and was told more than once that her parents were brainwashing her because of her support of the McCain/Palin ticket in the mock election they had in school.
It’s going to get a lot worse. They have a lot of garbage being advertised on children stations.
My 7 year old was all concerned about global warming yesterday.
I told her there was no such thing, the only global warming happening around here is my hot flashes.
Yes, but I'll bet the teacher in that class was a 100% liberal kook as well as the parents of the kids. The other kids were probably never told of the issues, and probably knew there are only 50 states, not 57 (or whatever) as 0zero stated. We let our daughter know about BOTH sides of the issues, and she picked the Conservative side.
