When I had spoken with her teacher about the possibility of taking her out of school for a day to go to a McCain/Palin rally in Virginia Beach, the teacher's attitude was "don't think about it, just do it." We did!!!
Well, many teachers are very liberal. I know many of the teachers in our ISD are conservative, but the entire community is the same. Now in Austin, forget trying to find a single decent teacher who is not a hardcore liberal. Same thing at UT Austin - liberals by the hundreds.
