I hunt the Nat. Forests. Wyo. has stepped up and allows open carry while bowhunting this year. Which is a ‘good thing’... Just wish Texas would do the same...
Odd. Texas is one of the few states that “specifically” prohibits open carry.

I thought Wyoming was always open carry, nd I definitely remember seeing guys carrying openly when I was last there.

Yes, yet another story, in Cody at a sporting goods store the owner was telling me about one of his customers who was mauled while hunting somewhere up there north of Cody, apparently the bear wanted his kill.
