It seems that congress might have a new budding liar, if not a crook. (In other news, water is wet.) Brian Baird, a democrat representative from Vancouver, Washington, has claimed that he received a death threat because of his support of HR 3200. This threat, he claims, was made by some crazy right-winger in a desperate attempt to stifle the truth about the goodness and graciousness of HR 3200. This, he has implied, is the rights desperation as they ratchet up the rancor - code words for, the right are a bunch of dangerous neanderthals. All of these bigoted notions of Bairds could be debated if only the death threat was real. No word on that yet.

Chieftain, of the Clarkblog, is doing yeoman work on this developing story.
Unfortunately for Democrat Representative Brian Baird, this story is slowly working its way National status.
The local media has covered for Baird for years, but this time I think we have him caught red-handed and scrambling for cover.
And all it took was picking up the telephone to try and verify his claims of "turning over" these "death threats" to the Capitol Hill Police.
It is vital to get word out about Baird's lies about these "death threats", because his fellow Dhimmies have already been out in other Townhalls lamenting about how shabbily us SW Washington Republicans are treating poor little Brian Baird.
To quote Charlie Danielw, we have Baird running "..like his pants was on fire, and his ass was catchin'..."
You mean Brian “I didn’t call anyone a brownshirt, but I apologized for it” Baird? That guy?
Baird is my Congressman. I do not hate him but am, instead, deeply disappointed.
It is time to replace him with a Republican but it will be difficult to achieve, as the unions are strong in this region.
Sounds like a new Democratic crybaby is born
Next thing Baird will be claiming it was that veteran who gave him the smackdown in the town hall meeting.
Very, very interesting that the Capitol Hill Police had no record or knowledge of the Congressman's claims.
Doesn't that suggest that, well, maybe...he lied?
At the same time, mightn't it suggest that he is really, really scared? Not of a Ryder truck. But of ballot boxes.
ROFLOL! You all called it right when he reported that it had happened and you guys serioulsy doubted him. Looks like you all were right. Was a low thing to do to make himself look good.

Tawana Brawley all over again.
Brian baird’s good friends at the Far-Left Democrat website “The Daily KOS” have hotlinked this story to their website.
How about a sampling of what these fine Americans think about this subject, shall we??

As for whether Baird received the threat, I cannot prove one way or another. But then neither can the local blogger “Chief,” but that doesn’t stop him from sending out his thinly sourced accusation. Yeah, it would be nice if the Baird office moved quicker to deal with these sorts of things, but I’m not sure they truly understand how quickly things move on the Internet.
Even if some folks don’t care for Baird, unless we get the facts out the local newspaper is going to continue doing the rightie’s dirty work for them.

Maybe the FBI should search out this blogger and find out?

That’s right, KOS cannot defend Brian Baird, so let’s sic the FBI on the dirty son of a bitch who dared question one of our lying Dhimmie heroes.
Again, if anyone can show me anything that proves Baird or his staff filed any kind of report with the Capitol Hill Police, I will make as big of a deal about that as I have about the lack of that report.
And I’m still waiting, KOS...
