My family, mostly Democrats until a few years ago and are still mostly apolitical, have Sarah as a facebook friend and would vote for her in a heartbeat. Kinda suprised me. I think the media and the political establishment, (D and R) are going to seriously misunderestimate her popularity. Gonna be fun watching them speechless when she wins in 2012.

I hope I'm not wrong about Sarah Palin, but I still remember how strongly I reacted to her first couple of speeches I saw. It was such a relief to finally have a candidate saying things I wanted to hear.

In a way, I'm glad McCain lost. She won't be tainted by four years of being McCain's VP and should she run in 2012, she will offer such a welcomed contrast to obama.

The country will be fairly desperate for hope and change by 2012. After four years of obama, Sarah Palin will look a lot like Reagan did to the country after four years of Carter.
