FYI, I’m a Canadian living in WA State...
I’m headed to BC Canada tomorrow for a funeral. My grand mother died Wednesday.
She went into the hospital, they figured anemic, she had a bleed behind her right eye.. a precursor to a stroke.
The were running tests and had setup an appointment for a CT scan, turns out the CT machine was busted, yet 45 minutes North there is another CT scanner, but it only runs at certain times on a certain schedule.
My grand mother waited, while she had further testing done she had a mild stroke, it caused her to lose vision in her right eye.
While she waited for the CT she finally had a massive stroke on Tuesday, and died in the afternoon of Wednesday...
She was 77
My uncle just got out of ICU at the same hospital, septicemia from a prostate biopsy, he almost died, he’s still sick 3 weeks later, requires weekly IV antibiotics.
Oh and he does have prostate cancer.
Canadian health care isn’t all its cracked up to be... don’t fall for the sunshine and lollipops version of it... you’ll end up with a shovel load of crap and a country of hypochondriac leeches.
I’m so very sorry....
I’m really sorry...
