You said — Your survey is simple, but I don’t think it’s a more accurate indicator than the Gallup poll which shows that there are more conservatives in this country than liberals.

From what I saw in the election results, it doesn’t appear that way to me. I’m more concerned about who people vote into office than what they call themselves... LOL...

According to exit polls, 27% of the voters who voted for Obama in the 2008 election, think that "government is doing too much". That's 17 million people who are more conservative than the status quo. That's also 17 million people (idiots) were mislead into thinking that Obama was for smaller government. You ignored what I said in my above post.

I’m more concerned about who people vote into office than what they call themselves... LOL...

As I pointed out it appears that most people at this point in time do want smaller government. What I'm most concerned about people understanding who is for small government and who (Obama) is against small government.
