The problem with that poll then is Why did more than 10 million conservatives vote for Obama? I ask that, since the poll shows that there are more conservatives than there are liberals, that means that since the vote count shows about 10 million more votes for Obama in this last election, that means those are 10 million conservative voters that voted for Obama...
This is where you are wrong my friend. Look at the poll again. The poll also offers the desription "moderate" as an answer. That's what you aren't considering. As I said above: State-by-state more people voted for McCain in 2008 then called themselves "conservative" in this Gallup survey.

Now, looking at my “survey results”, I see 10 million more liberals than conservatives...
It’s a fairly simply and *extremely accurate* survey, too.... :-)
