Sorry, but that is an opinion masquerading as a stated declaritive fact, which it is not. It is a declarative fact. Sarah Palin is not in a leadership position, in the sense of being able to guide policy or platform; or being in a position to influence legislation. Nor is she in any position to affect the actual debate or process in Congress.
What she is doing, is talking ... not without effect, but it's still just talk: one opinion among many.

You, I, and every other rational person who cares about this country knows that their are leadership positions that you are elected to, and leadership positions that occur naturally because you are naturally and actually a leader.
Those who are naturally a leader or who step up to the plate to lead, are the best leaders.
Sarah, as many will atest to in the conservative movement and elsewhere in the political spectrum, is such a leader, much I am sure to your chagrin.
