No one has discussed this issue in the way that Palin has thusfar in this ObamaCare debate.

Not true. Jim DeMint, for example, has been very active on the subject of tort reform -- in the context of health care reform, even -- to the point of actually proposing an alternative reform plan. All of which puts him well ahead of Palin on the topic.

To his credit, DeMint certainly has done good work on this. But, except to some of US, it’s virtually “invisible”, and has no chance of going anywhere. Maybe if DeMint and Palin were to coordinate their efforts...

That’s funny. I have seen no publication from DeMint on this, specifically, in the context of ObamaCare.

You’re reaching farther back than you’re allowed.

You’re gonna have to face it, that Palin is doing something that is much more effective and much more impacting than what others have only dreamed of doing.

You don’t like Palin, and I understand that. But don’t let your dislike of Palin consume you.

Irony is, in being so adamant to put forward the term “demontranable” about others beside Palin and their efforts in this arena you are “demonstrating” what others have been telling you.

Palin may not have the command you desire over the topic, or been “fighting the fight” as long as DeMint, but she is the one we here on FR are and have been discussing, and she is the one being heard on the topic for the Conservative side by many others, The articles in front the the voters are Palin’s, not DeMints.

So who would be a head of whom?

The guy with the better grasp of the details or the person actually being listened to with equally valid if less detailed aruments by those who count, namely the voters? This thread alone demonstrates the results of that.

And what has that gotten him?
Alternative GOP healthcare proposals are being ignored by both the Dems and media.

All of which puts him well ahead of Palin on the topic.

From a textbook standpoint, yes.
Is he driving the debate though?
Explain how his "Waterloo" comment received more coverage than his alternative healthcare plans.
You want to fight like the Redcoats when Palin is fighting like the Minutemen and Colonists.

I think the point we might be missing is that SP is a very strong weapon in the conservative arsenal. Right now Obama and Pelosi and the rest of the Dems are starting to reel. They are on the ropes and grasping for air. The right and proper course of action in this case is to pound the living crap out of them with everything we have and from every direction.

The SP Facebook assault works well toward this end. It might not be the first right hook in this fight but it is a strong right hook coming in from a new direction. It will help disorient our foe and cause him to stagger.

Let's not look a gift horse in the mouth.
