Well the reason given is that it "ridicules a public figure." I think this company represents the artist so I don't think it would be a copyright issue.

There was talk about the original photographer vs the artistic rendering not too long ago. Some suggesting that the artist “stole” the photo, altered it and did not obtain permission or credit the original photographer.
