I know some of you aren't fans of Debbie Schlussel, but I think this movie review (must be pretty conservative-pro American, Pro-Good, and Pro-Jewish/Israel), so I thought I'd post it. Must say, her review makes me want to go see it, where as I was thinking "meh", not a fan of Brad Pit or Tarantino!

Yikes! I’d written this one off BECAUSE of Tarantino and Pitt. This is surprising.

While I read elsewhere that the plot is rather novel and gratifying, it can be pretty gory.

Who IS this woman? She writes like a teenage girl with her first assignment on the high-school paper. I thought it was spoof at first.

Say what you will about Tarantino, his movies, without exception, are riveting...

Tarantino hasn’t made that many films and what he has made is mostly good. Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction , Jackie Brown...

well, I guess I didn’t phrase that right. Move the word “while” around until it makes more sense.

I was kind of surprised she didn’t find a way to bash Sarah Palin in this movie review.
To: JSDude1
I never go to the movies but I’m excited about this!

3rd string “conservative” pundit. Your assessment sums her up pretty nicely.

I think I’d rather spend my money on District 9 even without the review. Pitt makes me want to Puke but not as much as Mike Myers.

She probably likes it because Pitt probably blows away someone who reminds her of Sarah Palin.

Reservoir Dogs gets better as it ages, but it could be me. The scene where the black detective was rehearsing the “cop story” with Tim Roth and that rooftop I walk past almost everyday here in Hollywood...the rooftop of the Ripley’s Believe it or Not on Hollywood/Highland. Pulp Fiction is already a classic.
Jackie Brown I’m still on the fence and Kill Bill 1 was better than the snooze-athon of Kill bill 2.

Snatch was a good flick.

Finally, I've found something on this site to disagree with ;-)
I like Tarantino movies and I consider Pitt a very good actor.
I don't care much for the reviews, but judging by the crew and a plot of this movie, I intend to watch it and I expect it to be quite good.
